EVA foam is short for ethylene vinyl acetate foam, widely used in field of packing, sport protector, cars and outdoors. It is the expanded rubber by foaming technology; the foam mold size decides the foam sheet dimensions.

There are many dimensions of EVA foam sheet, such as120*140cm, 150*350cm, 150*380cm, thickness is about 40mm, hardness is 38-75 degrees, some EVA sheets could reach 80 degrees of hardness for special purpose, the EVA case factory needs to spiced the EVA foam as the certain thickness depending on different EVA cases. And use the proper dimension of EVA foam sheet based on the EVA case size to save cost.

Generally speaking, the large EVA case needs thicker and harder EVA foam to keep the shape.

By color:
Black eva foam, it is the most common EVA foam used to produce the molded EVA case, the actual color is dark grey or light grey, not pure black.
white eva foam, including the white EVA foam and the ivory EVA foam, laminated with the white color fabric or other light color fabric, to produce the light color EVA case, such as the white EVA case, pink EVA case, orange EVA case, light blue EVA case, etc.
other colorful eva foam, including the red EVA foam, pink EVA foam, blue EVA foam, orange EVA foam, etc. not used to produce the molded eva cases, just to do the die cutting foam insert, to hold the devices and gadgets in place!

By hardness:
soft EVA foam, used to produce protective pads, mats, such as the knee pad inserts, toys, floating jackets, chest and back protectors, etc
medium hard EVA foam, usually cut into 1-2mm thickness to divide, just for packing, protects goods from damps and dents via transporting. Also been used cutting foam inserts, tool case inserts, etc.
hard EVA foam, which is the most common used EVA foam to make hard EVA case, such as the eva laptop case, eva camera case and eva switch case, etc.
Extra hard EVA foam, usually laminated with reinforced nylon fabric, to make EVA tool case in large size, such as the EVA bike case, dj controller case, Guitar hard Case and the Boom Pole case, etc.

By thickness:
Thin EVA foam, medium thickness EVA foam, and thick EVA foam
By function:
Anti-static EVA foam, fire retardant EVA foam,
Other similar foam: neoprene foam, SBR foam, memory foam, sponge foam, RB foam, TPE foam, EPE foam, IXPE foam, high-foamed foam
